| Color has never been more exciting than
now with new palettes, strong stand alone colors and rich new
mixing philosophies on deck. Yellows are the new strong suit
and for added punch they are paired with gold or tan. Greens
of all intensities are back as the season’s most coveted
color. Blues, earthy neutrals and intensely bohemian palettes
are hot while on the other end of the spectrum we have the
faintest pastels and the best blushes on deck. You will notice
that much of springs color stories are anchored by solid over
solid layers and outfits. Prints are taking a slight step back
in favor of rich yet subtle embroidery or embellishment techniques.
Rich, sumptuous, flexible and multi chromatic are the best
words to describe the palettes for spring 2006! Take a closer
look! |

This
fresh crop of neutrals pastels are firmly anchored in nature.
Celadons, tan and pale stone are combined with cream for free
form mixing and matching. All of the weights are equal so there
is no firm rule for bottoms or top weight colors here!
