New York city designers are forging ahead with new silhouettes and shapes to keep the desire for denim on a constant up-tick. The big news are denim dresses and jumpers that benefit from light weight fabrics, 90's style influences and our current craving for architectural interest and one piece dressing. Also hot are anti fit jeans and shorts that have been percolating in japan for about a year and are now ripe for our shores. Vests are the their prime with new details and cuts but it is the denim jacket that will be the topper of choice. Skinny jeans are still a strong look but a new generation of cropped and baggy fits is on the horizon! |
