For this color report, we analyzed the recent runways to summarize color stories that will be important going forward for Spring 2009. Overall we saw a sense of fun and lightness that will transition denim from its serious fall feel to a brighter place. Trends such as Rave and, Futurism and Spice Islands are all bringing a strong color shift to the runways with very specific color stories to accompany the prevailing moods. Metallics, pastels and Cinnamon spices are your best bets while both yellow and purple promise to be the single color sensations of the season.
