At the denim fabric shows for Fall/Winter 09/10, we're seeing a sharp contrast away from the clean washes that have prevailed for the past several seasons. At the top of our list are vintage and used washes as well as new earthy vintage washes which bring in sandy tints. Stonewashes, though they never quite went away, are also strong. But let's not forget about the rinse and raw washes which do stick around for another round. For the most forward washes, look no further than superfaded, garment dyed and acid which bring retro into the denim market.
