The fall runways have given us a bird's eye view of key colors and palettes for fall. Greens, blues, greys and plums are your key colors that should live within any palettes or combos that you are doing.

In terms of palettes, a Rich Earth trend means that earthy browns, pumpkin shades, aviator blues and greens are key. For a softer look, the Gentle Nature palette brings the softer side of nature to our little guys. A bright vibe is still racing through our veins so all of the requisite brights are on deck and for those looking for something a bit more traditional, there is the school of Skate that merges BTS with street worthy twists.

Key Colors
Green Tea
Green IS the new black! You will find both yellow greens and blue cast greens playing important roles. Look for Olive, chartreuse, apple, jade and Kentucky bluegrass shades to pair with neutrals and warm greys.

Greys
Both cool and warm greys are important as neutrals for fall. You may even consider a midnight charcoal instead of a black to keep that dusky feel going. Cool greys are best when paired with brights while warm greys replace some of the brown shades of last year.

Blues
Rich blues become a staple in all commodities and in all looks from active to classic. Bright Royal and a turquoise cast blue are key for pop while a clean navy and a chambray blue can also be added to the line-up for more conservative mixes.

Racing brights are the subject of these trending colors. Primaries and a handful of offbeat brights such as chartreuse, tangerine, turquoise and navy are being used together in busy racing prints, striped knits and racing screens.

Pop Star
Brights worthy of the 80's are paired with greys, blue denim and black denim for a full on story. Use brights on greys or the reverse for screen art and be sure to offer plenty of simple yarn dyes pairing one bright with one neutral. Lavender, turquoise, jade and royal are key focal points!

School of Skate
This palette merges a traditional back to school look with a sharp street edge to make the best of both worlds. Greys, navy and rich blue denims get hits of bright royal, rocket red and jade for a new twist while Cabernet is used for that more traditional effect.
