We are back at the top of another season: Spring 2009! For our key body reports, we will be featuring all of the silhouettes that you will want to think about for your lines. We will be offering a main sketch as well as runway and trade show photos of similar products from within the same commodity. We start with knit tops and sweaters and will be updating weekly to cover woven tops, bottoms, dresses for girls and jackets for the transition into spring. Check back often to get the most silhouette direction!

For the knit tops report, we included sweaters because many cut and sew knitwear makers are turning to light weight sweater knits as a viable option to fleece or other knits. Since we are in the midst of a sweater cycle, that make sense! So when you look at any of these silhouettes, think sweaters if that is something you do, or take the silos and run with them in jerseys, flat back ribs, fleece, reverse fleece and even double knits.
