The Fashion forecast for the little girl's department is warm and wooly with a chance of Punk and some passing sparkles possible later in the season! A London Fog is also on the horizon, but when it clears you will see earthy tweeds, raucous plaids and there is a chance of Argyles and crests as well. Take a closer look!

Foggy London
This refreshing theme brings the wit and charm of autumnal London to our shores. Earthy colored tweeds, menswear fabrics and yarns are conjured up into classic coats, feminized menswear pieces, heavy gage sweaters and home spun accessories. Cuffed shorts, fit and flare jackets, classic capes and girly sweaters are all mixed in with denim (why not!) and with charming hats, scarves and cozy legwear. |

Prep School
Back to school just wouldn't be complete without some reference to academically approved fashion! The usual suspects are back on the books: Plaids, crests, argyle and vests. The trick is, how can you make this look original! Bring in the peplumed jackets, the jabot shirt or the cuffed knicker for newness. Play up the pinafore or go for a menswear angle in black and cream houndstooth. Go for double knits and Ponte di Roma instead of wovens or stir up the whole look in grays and black-white for a more mod approach.

Punk Rock Princess
Edgy and fun looks that could have been at a My Chemical Romance concert are now being offered to the youngest Punks and Punkettes! Thanks to Hollywood babies and their grown up fashion sense, the market is becoming (in fact they are demanding!) more grown up looks like these! So bring on the plaids, the happy skulls and the clip on ties. Drop in the black denim, the crinolined skirts and the plaid knickers too. Serve up some crests, some studs and a hit or two of graffiti and you're all set!

Moms and tots won't be able to wait a minute longer for these retro sweaters, big button cardigans, charming dresses and wonderfully naive outfits. Grandma-esque layers, offbeat color mixes and classic patterns from dots to geometrics and tiny bud florals are in the mix as are pinafores, A line skirts and cropped trousers.

Snow Queen
Winter's wonderland becomes a dreamscape of sparkle and shine with this trend! Glittery yarns, sparkly prints, rhinestone appliques and fuzzy fur trims are added to winter white separates for mixing and matching. Gold and silver get equal play as both look great in this setting! Snowflake prints, crowns, scrolls and crests are the art motifs while tonal brocades and stripes are subtly mixed into the background.
