Sports and surf spring into action
with the opening of the new Diesel Kids store in Soho,
New York. The store is Diesel's first kids boutique
store in the United States that looks to be a fun shopping
experience for ages 0-16. The concept of the store
is downtown hip, the type of place to go to buy gifts
for kids from clothes to shoes and accessories. Keeping
the 'gift' concept in mind, the atmosphere and merchandise
is just as free-spirited as you would find in a Diesel
store, rest assured the toy-filled, baby like environment
is absent. Stainless-steel fixtures line
the walls much like an adult Diesel store including a 'denim
wall', while a large skateboard-shape display in the
middle of the store sets the tone for the "Future Sports" themed
Summer 2005 collection. The store reflects the collection's
concepts with sports symbols and elements from the ocean
displayed across the floor. Clearly showcasing 'Successful
Living' at its best! Check
