Toddler and infant department overview
The infant and toddler department was
looking especially good thanks to new displays for Okie
Dokie. The shelved units feature a mannequin at
the top that really helps to bring some life to the opening price point
merchandise. Also on the floor on time for the holidays: Tons of 2 and
3 piece sets as well as ‘Character’ gift sets that feature a piece
of clothing along with a toy and a cup or other useful item. The entire floor
was marked down just prior to Thanksgiving in the hopes of attracting some early
holiday shoppers.
What we would
like to see more of
The Christmas strategy
covered all of the bases with impulse buys, sale items and ‘first Christmas’ standards.
All commodities were well represented and we could find no ‘missing’ items
or unaddressed issues!

Knit Tops
Layered and/or embellished tops are on deck for I/T.
