The heat
is on at New York retailers! Warm colors brighten up sales floors,
especially hot pinks and purples. Details like puff sleeves and
delicate embroideries look all the more girly and are very popular.
Belted dresses and stripes are on the hot list everywhere.
Spring has sprung with pastel colors and
plenty of stripes and florals at Bloomies. Most popular are
tops with peter pan collars with printed shorts. Cotton belted
dresses in lavender and pink are already strong. Denim also
comes into play with top selling ruffle minis skirts and embroidered
jumpers.
Think color, and plenty of it! Printed
pattern graphic tees are a hot seller with flowers and heart
designs. Patchwork dresses from winter have been recolored
in warm red and orange hues and are now selling for spring.
Balloon pants and athletic banded skirts are fast sellers
in white and pink while anything striped is blowing out at
the register.
Pretty girly tops and bottoms are a hit
for spring. Puff sleeve tops in pastel colors are selling
fast as are denim and colored ribbon tie cargo pants. Floral
embroideries on denim add to jeans and jackets and are still
strong selling features. Striped or printed tees also are
key under denim jumpers.
