For Spring, every possible type of girl has a trend that she can relate to. Sporty Girls will find themselves in the Roller Girl look while Girly Girls will gravitate towards the Precious Dolls. Make no mistake about it! Many girls like to be girly, really girly. If you are selling to 4-12 year olds, chances are they grew up on a steady diet of Princesses and can still relate to the feminine quality, colors and silhouettes of that whole realm. In this trend we offer soft pastels with hints of slightly brighter shades for prints. Each silhouette plays up a ruffle, a tier ort any other doll worthy detail against a backdrop of fine texture. Eyelet, lace and tull figure here but you can contrast those with chintzed cottons for shine. Look to the season’s prettiest florals to use as part of a group of prints or as a large floral statement.
