In its 23rd year, Winter Music Conference is regarded as the singular networking event in the dance music industry. The event encompasses every aspect of the electronic music industry including the top technological innovators, music producers, radio and video programmers, audio manufacturers, record labels reps and most fashionably, legendary DJ's and serious party people. On top of all the panel discussions and demos of the latest DJ gadgets, there are, of corse, endless parties! When an event draws in the top DJ's from around the world to sunny South Beach in the middle of March, you can bet that the parties start at noon and run til early morning. With all the high profile wheeling and dealing, record labels, energy drinks, and clothing and sneaker companies sponsor parties and product giveaways to keep the fun flowing. Every bill is packed with amazing DJ's and performances. Every dance floor is poppin' with amazing dancers while music and fashion professionals exchange cards and make connections.

DJ's are often stuck behind the turntables, so, aside from the slammin' records they throw down, the only form of self expression they get is through their tee shirts. Expect the tee shirt to be the ultimate DJ uniform and grounds for competition amongst one another. For this reason, bold statements with fresh typography are the way to get the word out, werd! With the 90s being a huge trend for WMC hipsters, guys dug up old skool shirts from N.K.O.T.B, Belle Biv DeVoe, Yo MTV Raps! and even Bugle Boy. Psychedelic and drug references, musical icons, black leaders, graffiti art and gold teeth are all images that speak to guys in the music biz.
