For this in depth Spring 2008 preview report we took a look at all of the best screens from junior and kids runways and trade shows. The newest looks we found include all over prints; fruits and naive florals looked freshest, dark (as in sinister) screens with one color tone on tone effects and richly colored African iconic art. For the mass market we found that naive Golden Book style characters had the charm and appeal to be big time winners and illustrated sea creatures in fine detail are excellent for carrying a nautical theme with a twist.
