HomeGraphics> Graphic Trends from Trade Shows Part 1

This is the first of many trade show reports exploring graphics for Spring 2007. Stay tuned for more!

Graphics and prints continue to be a main design element for childrenswear, however, the tradeshows this season showed how versatile and creative their usage can be. They ranged from more sophisticated florals to bright geometric and striped designs. Folk inspired prints were an important trend and complemented bulky or tiered garments well. Another interesting trend was the use of off-beat or sometimes silly girls or dolls to create truly unique graphics. Hearts, wings, and tie dye also appeared to be quite popular along with a number of nature inspired graphics and prints.
