The Milan Furniture Fair, locally known as 'Il Salone del Mobile' transformed the entire city into an interior design mecca. Il Salone, is in fact very different from any other trade show around, because the exhibitors are not constricted to one in-door exhibition space. They have the whole city at their disposal, encompassing every church, building, courtyard and piazza they can get their hands on. The outcome is a week of interior design from the minute you step out the door, until the last free cocktail at one of the many evening launch parties!
