Taking licensing beyond toys and personal home décor, Mattel partnered with Hilton Toronto to present Barbie and Hot Wheels theme hotel rooms. We've got to hand it to these guys - what better way to brand than by getting into the hospitality business?!
 
Even if you can't afford to go all out for your kid's room at home, wouldn't it be great to experience Barbie in a complete Barbie setting? Or what about a slumber party? Don't get too excited though, this is just a test, and depending on the results Hilton may introduce the concept to other properties. This initiative parallels the launch of Mattel furniture sold exclusively through Canadian retailer The Brick.
