Seems like our favorite Italian city has got on an artistic and green kick for the holidays!

Forget holiday windows! Christmas City Park is a new project consisting of 101 stylized trees made of recyclable polyethylene that lights up Milan's main street. Designers including Anna Molinari, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada are on display.

In addition, the trees will be auctioned by Christie's with proceeds going towards a Milan park project. The project is sponsored by Milan's city hall, Associazione Live Town and Fondazione Ambiente Milano. The initiative also adheres to Plant for Planet, a United Nations Environment Programme campaign that encourages communities to plant trees.
