Kira Plastinina has her eyes on the US market with a newly opened shop on Broadway in New York's SoHo neighborhood. And she's planning on opening 50 stores in the US within the next 3 years. But who is she?

Kira is a Moscow 10th grader and the daughter of a Russian dairy and juice tycoon. She's already got 40 of her own stores in Russia. At just 15-years-old, Kira's store targets teen girls like her, with merchandise that focuses on denim, tops and dresses. The average price point is $48. The store is very playful and young, with pink, black and white everywhere. Also in the store is a free photo booth, VIP wall where fans could write messages, and a shop-in-shop Dylan' Candy Bar with some co-branded packaging. Considering the competition in the junior market (there's a Forever 21 just up the street), it will be interesting to watch how Kira Plastinina expands her empire to the the US market.
