Like a playground made out of candy the girl's exhibitors were shiny, bright, mix-matched and tangible! Fabrics ranged from tulle, to pleather, to silk, cotton and denim. Tiered dresses  resembled  cake layers mixing polka-dot, florals, and stripes. The young bohemian was  a strong theme highlighted by bright tie-dyed sun dresses and denim jackets embellished with glittery peace signs. Cartoon characters of ladybugs, bunnies, hearts and smiley faces are a fun addition to the casual t-shirt. Why dig into the tickle trunk to find dress-up clothes when everyday outfits are just as fun!!

It's no secret that girls like things that sparkle and Tarina Tanantino knows just that! Her jewelry collection  not only showcased her signature Swarovski covered 3D hearts and chunky bead bracelets but also introduced a new line for Kid Robot full of new characters to dangle from our necks. Environmentally friendly accessories were noticeable trend at Magic. Multiple brands showcased bags made out of organic fabrics adorned with go- green slogans. From cupcake printed make-up bags, to retro clutches, and puppy key chains Magic had it all!

The Streetwear area is always happening at MAGIC and this time around it got an extra boost from the new S.L.A.T.E. section – a place where skate, surf and street combined. The graphics on hand were vast and we mean it when we say there was something for every taste. The skulls, after several seasons of popularity have almost disappeared, but when they appeared it was often in a dark manner – cue Armory Distribution with gun and weaponry imagery or Gan Eden which actually means heaven but brings in gloomy birds, skulls and paint splatters. Along the dark lines, check out FINN which adds a strong neon pop element to comical graphics like the skull statue of liberty. Ed Roth also beckons along a twisted road, known for his monster-like "anti-Mickey Mouse graphics. But it's not all. The retro 90s element continues with early hip-hop references at Originators and Pyknic Clothing with fruity graphics in neon hues. The original touch of an artist also drew in crowds at Karma 4K. Let's not forget the well-done clean political graphics of ES Charlie or the layered messages of Dirty Jeenius. We told you, something for every taste!
