Ladies of Stockholm love color, but don't always want to stand-out like a sore thumb. Their looks can be considered an homage to the "Boy George Era", where silhouettes boarder a fine line between feminine and androgynous. An NK boutique clerk bares a graphic print with the words "boys boys boys", reminiscent of clothing worn in music videos by the likes of Boy George, WHAM, Yes, and The Police. Dresses are feminine but paired with more manly accessories like a fedora, blazer, or 20s-inspired men's shoes worn without socks.

Color is subdued by pairing with khaki or washed denim. Simple tops in neutral colors from Hope or Carin Wester are paired with funky printed skirts from H&M, Filippa K, and Miu Miu. And now, it seems as if a love for hats is appearing again on the streets, we shall see where this road will take us going forward.
