Unlike the mud fest of 2000, this year Roskilde Festival was adorned with blazing sunshine throughout. This meant areas such as the Agora Lake were jam-packed with morning hangovers curing themselves by sunbathing and swimming into the fresh water while listening to some underwater music.
The heat also brought some new summer trends to the scene. A tropical graphic theme was strong in menswear, along with a more relaxed bohemian silhouette. Womenswear styles looked towards American retro for inspiration, and reinterpreted traditional folk styling. Accessories saw a major comeback for one of fashions biggest faux pas, the belt bag, while trilby hats and multi-colored Ray Bans continue to reign.
