This season's Coterie show in New York once again gave us a strong showing of ladies contemporary brands. Though there were quite a few familiar brands from the Las Vegas shows, we snapped up the best exhibitors as well as a few newcomers to Coterie.

An evident feel of eclecticism was the overall mood of the show. In the highlights below, we've pinpointed a few key pieces.

Circus & Co. took the super feminine mini and cleaned it up into a cocktail worthy piece. Plaids continue to creep up in dresses and cute bombers as seen at Fornarina and Nisa. The details are played up; slouchy pockets and menswear inspired buttons where great notions. At P II, patchwork elements surprisingly gave cropped leather jackets and racer-back tanks a sharp, downtown cool. Oversize florals and placement screens from Core and Drifter stood out as great variations on the graphic tee. At Julie Brown, cashmere tunics were far from plain with a skeleton key print. Very chic, yet classic. We also couldn't deny the brilliant worldly appeal of the ikat print dress from Raison D'etre. See below for the rest of the eclectic round up.
