Coterie in New York successfully proved that despite a tough economy, retailers are still moving forward an on the hunt for strong – and non-basic collections. Attendance overall was high and in particular, international attendance was up, proving that it's a good time to buy American. In addition, this season we saw a number of designers coming out with additional lines – more often than not, which cater to lower price points – a good move to increase buying power on both the retailer and consumer end.
