We’re thrilled to bring you our first time coverage of Copenhagen’s CPH Vision tradeshow! As Copenhagen gains momentum on the international fashion scene, we’ve found that CPH Vision as well as the Gallery tradeshow are essential stops on the global tradeshow circuit. The show brought forth a lot of relatively new Scandinavian brands that have generally been around for less than 3 years.
 

In the ladies sector, we’re pleased to see a number of collections from fresh graduates, which brings forth a lot of innovation. Copenhagen designers are definitely not playing it safe and it’s fantastic to see more experimental creations come to life. Trend-wise, Copenhagen is certainly set to become a major contender on a global level since it is right on par with what’s going on in other cities. For Fall 2008/2009 mustard was the important new color. A few important items include cropped leather jackets and leggings (still!) either knitted or printed cotton with new button or zip details at the hem. Check out our favorite exhibitors for more!
