After examining the runway shows produced by Magic and the exhibitors on hand, we’re able to draw some strong conclusions for Fall 06/07! In the overall trend arena, romance and Victorian reign strong with feminine detailing like lace. Folkloric and 70s show importance on prints and Russian military impacts jackets and baroque styling. Silhouettes are very important and these are the items to grab: empire waist anything, bubble shapes in skirts and jackets, layering chunky knits and mini skirts with leggings, riding pants, cuffed shorts, vests, and skinny pants. Take a close look at our favorite items!

Magic runways shined this season giving a vintage feel for fall with a deep color palette of olive greens, plum purples, and rustic pinks. Jackets and coats graced the runways through out all collections ranging from military inspired pea-coats, to fitted blazers, to whimsical floral print cropped jackets. Fur was shown adorning vests, coats, and shawls for that extra warmth and lavish feel. Ethnic and floral prints mixed with metallic for a vintage edge especially when paired with denim, which shined through in dark washes featuring screens and jeweled detail. New for fall were bubble skirts and crocheted tops, both perfect for dressy and casual looks.
