Project exhibitors as usual, showcase the best brands to watch when we are talking Contempo and premium offerings. Brands from all over, presented wearable, trendy and retail ready pieces sure to have buyers part with those dollars! Ladies exhibitors did not disappoint when it came to offering on-trend, yet cross-seasonal silhouettes. Virtually every exhibitor offered pieces beyond the “basic”, upping the ante with beautiful prints, special wovens and stylish simplicity.

Ladies exhibitors showcased tons of what is sure to do best. The key item continues to be the dress and the dressy top. Colorful geometric prints and florals are still strong, as seen at Alice and Trixie. Updated tops are done with detailed trims and special interest played to the neckline area. Sweaters have become all about volume, dimension and rich color (aside from basic neutrals) as seen from Generra. Bold mélange knit sweaters and offbeat motifs were also hot at Ichabod and Manoush and pieced at Preloved. More ornate pieces (think extra shine, heavy beading and all-out luxe) stood out side-by-side easy sophistication, i.e. Andrew Lauren and Quail.
Much to our excitement, Project denim exhibitors had a strong helping of directional, chic bodies. Silhouette updates were everywhere! We saw pin tucked pencil skirts, cap-sleeved lightweight denim rompers, capes and hooded denim dresses and funnel necked cropped jackets from Deener. Tons of back-pocket action was seen at Mynk Hauteur and deep blue washes were seen at Paper Denim. More below!
