We’re thrilled to bring you our first time coverage of Copenhagen’s CPH Vision tradeshow! As Copenhagen gains momentum on the international fashion scene, we’ve found that CPH Vision as well as the Gallery tradeshow are essential stops on the global tradeshow circuit. The show brought forth a lot of relatively new Scandinavian brands that have generally been around for less than 3 years.
 

The mens scene at CPH was excellent! In fact we haven’t seen so much attention given to menswear labels in a long time. The street influence could be felt from a lot of brands so that means that there’s a lot of cool things happening with graphics. But unlike brands we’ve seen at other shows, it’s not about just a tee shirt line, there’s entire collections which have great graphic things going on. Trend-wise Copenhagen is right on par with other global brands so we’re excited to discover unfamiliar names and bring them to the world. We saw a lot of action with checks and plaids mainly on shirts and jackets. There was also a strong display of Grandpa cardigans with traditional brown leather buttons and larger V-necks. The mens streetwear scene in Copenhagen is blowing up! We were impressed by the merging of hip-hop and skate brands which also seems apparent on a global level. What was also cool was how so many collections are working graphics into their collections, so it wasn’t so common to find brands only doing teeshirts/hoodies for example. Plaids and checks were a HUGE part of almost every collection in lumberjack like plaid shirts and jackets. On the screen graphics side there’s still a lot of retro inspiration happening especially from the tektonic street scenes which means lots of shapes and analog references in bold and bright colors.
Cool kicks and boots reflected the dominance of mens streetwear brands at CPH Vision. Therefore there’s lots of retro styling going on, from hi-top sneakers to 80s snow boots. Check ‘em out!
