As Project originated as a menswear show, the collections exhibited here are perhaps the top-of-the-top in mens contemporary. Prevalent at almost every brand we met with is plaid, in a big way whether it's on classic button-downs or in a more Western style. Cassic polos were another staple. A number of brands played on classic preppy styles with modern twists like childlike stripes. Wrath Arcane added to minimalist oxfords with fantastic flap, strap and epaulet details on the shoulders and backs of shirts.

Project is a denim destination and hosts a number of brands from ultra premium on down. This season sees a sharp turn towards function in denim, while moderate distressing and deconstruction continues at a lesser level. With functionality in mind, a lot of brands opted for comfort in lighter 7 to 8 oz. denims. Stonewashed denim is popular and whisker detailing dominates heavily or lightly. In terms of styles, we've seen everything from clean styles with tapered legs to baggier options. A number of brands are still big on heavy embroidery and embellishment on back pockets – anything to add a more "customized" feel to the product.
