Fashion Snoops: Trends Ahead

While the "season of the dress" is in the past, there are still some very commercially viable options to consider for dresses this season. The loudest statement was that of body consciousness and a slimmer, more form-fitting shape. Therefore we see styles like the contour, one shoulder and strapless mini emerge. But with the 70s still strong, flowy maxi dresses carry over from last season and the sack dress is still essential. The dropped waist dress is a prominent eveningwear option.
