For the past few seasons, we've been seeing a "kidult" trend happening for juniors. It's all about nostalgia and embracing your inner child. But much like our Twisted Innocence lifestyle trend, this childhood imagery comes with an adult perspective. There is twisted take on fantasy creatures, especially unicorns, and it seen everywhere from apparel and accessories to YouTube! Two hugely successful YouTube series are Unicorn Planet and Charlie the Unicorn; both are home made animations that have roughly 6 episodes posted and they also have their own line of graphic tee shirts. Planet Unicorn has become so iconic, the theme song is available for download and Charlie the Unicorn episode 1 has had over 25 million hits! What makes these videos and various other graphics incorporating unicorns uniquely "kidult" is that there is a twisted aspect to all of them - the Vintage Vantage shirt has a "unicorn on the Cob" and in Charlie the Unicorn, Charlie gets his kidney stolen!
