Wal-mart is one of the retailers that when times get tough, they get moving. Their low prices stand the test of time and are just the thing to lure the shoppers who feel that their wallets are being pinched at the pump and in their mortgage envelopes.
   

In short, the more Americans skid towards financial hardship, the more Wal-mart shoppers there are. That said the store has turned its attention to lowering prices and to sticking to their value formula. So while the apparel selection may not be as fashionable as it once was, it sure offers the lowest prices to those who shop here. We found one new fashion strategy in girls and juniors: Miskits.

The junior market is filled with great licensed looks from Disney, Disney Cuties, Happy Bunny and Care Bears in tees, fleece shorts and sleepwear. They also offer Hannah Montana in juniors which tells us that they are catering to a young junior customer at the same time as a true junior girl.
