We've seen it in Los Angeles and now everyone's favorite Japanese pop artist has a show at the Brooklyn Museum. It's the same exhibit that was organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA which represents Murakami's work between 1991 and 2000, though there are more site-specific instillations on view here.

Of importance to fashion hounds, the exhibit features a Louis Vuitton store right in the middle of the exhibit, selling the famed LV multicolor monograms as well as the new "Monogramouflage" available only at the museum. Perhaps even more interesting was that on opening night there were 10 vendors set up outside the museum selling authentic Vuitton gear a la Canal Street style. We highly recommend a visit to our favorite Kidult artist of today! On view until July 13, 2008. http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/murakami/
